Royal Alberta Museum
The Royal Alberta Museum features natural and human history, and is the largest museum in western Canada featuring nearly 8,000 square metres of exhibition space.
Visitors will be amazed by the Natural History Hall, where they will find life-size replica skeletons of some of the massive animals that lived in Alberta thousands of years ago. The Human History Hall explores who we are, where we are going and where did we come from. There's also a bug gallery where you can (safely) get up close and personal with insects, spiders and invertebrates from all over the world. There's also a children's gallery, rotating feature gallery and exhibitions.
You can find the museum just a short walk from Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel by APA, in the downtown core of Edmonton.
