Centennial Park

Located in the downtown core, this community park is the hub of many activities and home to several recreation facilities for locals and visitors to enjoy. This is not only a great place to enjoy the formal garden, but families with young children can enjoy the spray park, a playground, a sand volleyball court and a skateboard park.

Surrounded by the North Peace Leisure Pool, the park is a fantastic place to bring your young family for a swim. At the North Peace Arena, you can catch a Northwest Junior Hockey League game and cheer the local team, the Huskies. Pomeroy Sport Centre features two NHL-sized ice rinks, an indoor Olympic-sized long-track speed skating oval and a 340-meter raised walking track. The North Peace Museum is a popular location too, with historical artifacts and showcases various parts of the North's history and a gift shop with so many cool things to buy.
