Peace River Wilderness Park

This municipally owned park is a fun place to explore! Fishing enthusiasts, bring your fishing rods as the two man-made crystal-clear lakes are stocked with rainbow trout and grayling. Swimming is not allowed, but many people are on the lake with canoes, kayaks or paddle boards.

Travel by foot on the many interconnected trails, the trails are pet-friendly and a popular spot where locals come to walk their dogs. There is an amazing 3 km loop that takes almost an hour to complete filled with an abundace of different types of wildlife and excellent to bird watching. The Park is well maintained and offers outhouses, picnic tables and fire pits to enjoy.
