Beaver Boardwalk
The Beaver Boardwalk is a beloved spot among both locals and visitors alike. Also known by locals as the “Beebo,” the three kilometers boardwalk offers unparalleled opportunities for bird and animal viewing. As the world's longest freshwater boardwalk, it is a perfect destination for a family outing, showcasing the unique wetland system around Maxwell Lake. The boardwalk takes you through marshland and fens, providing up-close encounters with active beaver dams and lodges. With seating areas, interpretive signs, and two observation towers, the boardwalk is a recognized hotspot for birding enthusiasts and photographers, offering a one-of-a-kind experience in nature. Dogs are welcome on the trails in our park! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, they must be kept on leashes.
