Tatagwa Parkway Trails
Weyburn's picturesque Tatagwa Parkway trail system and parks are the ideal places to walk your dog, go for a run, ride your bike,or observe nature's beauty. Developed as an urban conservation park dedicated to preserving native flora and fauna, this area offers great scenery that makes you feel away from the city while still being inside it.
The trails are partially paved and well-maintained, with short grass along most paths and a paved trail in River Park. There are plenty of rest spots, picnic tables, and park benches throughout the Parkway, perfect for enjoying views of the Souris River. At least two or three bridges provide beautiful river overlooks, and interpretive signs are spread throughout the trails for an educational experience.
This park is dog-friendly and features a dog station with doggy bags and a garbage can at the trailhead. Additionally, there is a free parking lot for your convenience.
