Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Park

Known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific", Waimea Canyon offers some of the most beautiful views on Kauai. If you go after a rainstorm, you may be treated to the sight of waterfalls cascading down the colorful cliffs. Plan a stop at the adjacent Koke’e State Park and enjoy a meal at the restaurant or visit the museum and learn more about Kauai. Both parks offer miles of hiking trails.
