Catfé: A Cat Sanctuary

Catfé is Vancouver’s original cat café and is located in International Village Mall (aka Tinseltown Mall) in Vancouver on the edge of Gastown near Rogers Arena and BC Place Stadium. They offer a relaxed environment where you can sip your coffee while surrounded by adoptable cats. With a mission to promote cat adoption, Catfé is partnered with various animal rescues and their teams of fosters and volunteers to help adoptable rescue cats from all over Canada find loving homes. The café itself is designed with the cats’ comfort in mind, featuring climbing trees, cozy nooks, and plenty of toys. The menu includes a selection of “catpuccinos”, cat-themed treats, cat supplies and “meowchandise”. Reservations are recommended.

The Bunny Café: Hop Into Happiness

The Bunny Café is a charming establishment on the north end of Commercial Drive, located on on the corner of Venables Street, where fluffy, friendly bunnies rule the café and offer a unique and heartwarming experience. It’s worth the short drive to visit North America’s first-ever bunny café. They partner with Rabbitats Rescue to create a safe, positive atmosphere for customers to interact with adoptable bunnies. Your admission includes snack cups of lettuce and herbs to feed the bunnies while you interact with them. They also have a variety of bunny merchandise for sale such as t-shirts, stickers, tote bags and more.

Catoro Café: A Cat Lover’s Dream

Catoro Café is more than just a café, it contains a café, “cat forest”, a bubble tea shop and cat supply boutique store all in one. Located at East Broadway and Fraser Street, they rescue cats and bring them to the “Cat Forest” inside their café for customers to cuddle and play with. All cats in the cat forest can be adopted and stay at the café until they find their “furever” home. Catoro Café has a wide variety of bubble teas to choose from and if bubble tea isn’t your thing, they have a selection of hot teas and coffees as well. Every bubble tea purchase helps to support the rescue cats living at the cat café.
