Measuring approximately 1,000 acres, the park is home to flower gardens, totem poles, exhibits by local and indigenous artists, not to mention resident wildlife and some of the city’s oldest known trees.

Walk, jog, bike or roller-blade along the seawall or any of the parks 27 km's of forest trails - perfect for walking your dog. Bring the kids for a ride on the Stanley Park Train or enjoy a romantic horse-drawn carriage tour. Take in the view at Prospect Point. Visit Brockton Lighthouse, as you gaze upon the Burrard Inlet and the city of North Vancouver beyond. Or, just choose a path and go for a stroll – just make sure you don’t get lost!

Pet owners looking for a spot to let their dogs off of their leash, can do so in the Stanley Park Dog Park, located in the southwest corner of the park next to the tennis courts. This little park is fenced, and is a great location to allow your dog to run around before walking through the parks on-leash trails.
