Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park
Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park is Prince George’s largest park, spanning over 65 acres of lush green space, towering trees, and scenic pathways that lead to multiple viewing spots along the mighty Fraser River. Visitors can relax on one of the many benches to enjoy the vibrant flower gardens or watch children play in the playground and seasonal water park.
The park is a place of deep cultural significance and serves as a gathering space for the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. It hosts community events and traditional celebrations that honor the area’s Indigenous heritage.
Connected to Prince George’s Heritage River Trail System, an 11-kilometer dog-friendly path that winds through the community and riverside parks, this area is perfect for leisurely walks and outdoor exploration. Dogs are welcome but should remain leashed for everyone’s safety. Step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the natural and cultural beauty that make this park a cornerstone of the community.
