The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Nanaimo Airport (YCD) via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. Get directions from the airport to our hotel.

Harbour Air operates a terminal at Pioneer Waterfront Plaza, situated in the heart of Nanaimo Harbour. The waterfront terminal is conveniently located just across from the hotel, offering a quick and brief 3-minute walk from door to door.

Unfortunately, our hotel does not have a swimming pool or hot tub. Visit our hotel's service and amenities page for more information on what we offer.

We have a connected parkade that is accessible through the hotel parking elevator, complete with electric vehicle charging stations. All guests are required to check in at the hotel before parking their vehicles, allowing us to provide you with the parking elevator key. For detailed pricing information, please refer to our service and amenities section.

We recommend to call our Central Reservations line at 800.716.6199 or email us at info@coasthotels.com if you need to modify your hotel reservation. Please have the confirmation number ready which can be found on the reservation confirmation email.

Coast Hotels has many pet-friendly hotels including Coast Bastion Hotel. There is a pet fee per day/room and pets must always be kept on a leash or crated, in the public areas inside the hotel as well as around the exterior of our property. Pets should never be left unattended in your room.

If you are traveling with a baby or need an extra bed for an additional guest, our hotel has a limited number of cots and cribs to reserve and we recommend to please give us a call at 250.753.6601 or email us cbifrontdesk@coasthotels.com to see what is available before you arrive. There is an additional fee per day/room. Unfortunately, we do not have playpens.

Host a seminar or board meeting in smaller venues including our Colvile and Quadra Rooms, or larger events in our expansive Ballroom, the largest hotel ballroom in the city. We accept the following cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Diner's Club. Cash and debit can be used as tender at the time of check-out. All guests must provide a valid credit card with matching photo identification issued by the government upon check-in.

Our flexible cancelation policy allows for reservations to be canceled up to 24 hours before your check-in time to avoid a penalty of one (1) night room plus tax at the confirmed rate. Some hotel promotions or discounted rates may have an alternative cancelation policy that is listed on the Offer Details or within the Terms & Conditions.
