Lost Lake
Lost Lake Park is a beautiful spot with clear blue water, perfect for swimming, hiking, biking and family outings. The lake features a well-maintained gravel loop trail that’s ideal for nature lovers, runners and dog walkers. In the summer, enjoy the swimming docks, picnic tables and scenic views of the surrounding mountains. During winter, the park transforms into a hub for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the Lost Lake Nordic Trails.
The park is about a 30-minute walk from Whistler Village, and it’s best to arrive by walking or biking through the wooded trails. Free shuttle buses from the village are also available. Clean restrooms add to the convenience, making Lost Lake Park a must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.
For dog owners visiting Whistler in the summer, Canine Cove is a cozy off-leash beach where pups can splash in the water and cool off on a hot day. While it’s not a large area for running, it’s a clean and dog-friendly spot that’s perfect for a quick swim or some playtime by the water. Keep in mind that dogs aren’t permitted on Lost Lake Beach itself, but Canine Cove provides a dedicated space for furry friends to enjoy the lake.
