Whistler Olympic Park
Whistler Olympic Park, nestled in the Callaghan Valley just west of Whistler, was the site of the Nordic events during the 2010 Winter Olympics, hosting biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping. Today, it’s a hub for outdoor fun all year round.
In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or even try a biathlon lesson, blending skiing with target shooting. With over 40 kilometers of dog-friendly trails, the whole family, including your pup, can join in. There’s also a free tobogganing hill that is loads of fun. Just bring your gear and enjoy! Afterward, warm up at the Day Lodge, complete with washrooms, change rooms and a fully-licensed café offering hot drinks and meals you can enjoy inside or on the patio with your dog by your side.
In the summer, the Callaghan region transforms into a hiker’s paradise with trails leading to lakes, waterfalls, glaciers and breathtaking alpine views. For more thrills, try the off-road buggy tour or keep it casual with a game of disc golf. Whistler Olympic Park has something for everyone, no matter the season!
